Frequently asked questions

We hope you’ve found everything you need to order great boxes and get on with your business. In case there’s a query on your mind, we’ve done our best to answer all the most common questions here in our FAQs.

Are branded boxes worth it?

We believe that branded boxes are worth the investment because they help improve your brand professionalism and make you more memorable with customers.

Our top tip is to tailor your packaging to your budget. A simple box with your logo can be more cost-effective than fully printed designs, while still highlighting your business.

What is the turnaround time on my order?

Echo Boxes Online have a standard turnaround time of 7 business days, which means your boxes will be ready for pickup or delivery in only a week.

We offer delivery to businesses around metro Melbourne. For customers outside of this zone, we kindly request you arrange your own courier/transport.

Do you have a minimum order size?

As specialists in short runs, we offer very low minimum quantities starting at just 25 boxes. Our state-of-the-art digital printing machine can also handle larger runs of 100+ boxes.

Costs tend to go down the more you order, so we recommend taking a look at your packaging needs first to find the ideal quantity that is both cost-effective and suitable for your business.

Can we print inside our boxes?

Yes, you sure can. Internal printing is a great way to add extra messages to your design or to ensure your brand and logo is fully wrapped around your packaging.

If you plan to print inside your boxes, make sure to select double sided printing for your order and add designs for two sides on your box template. We should also mention this comes with a slight cost increase, due to the extra materials used.

Can we print boxes with our logo?

Absolutely! Digital printing is a versatile method which can handle everything from full-colour designs to simple black logos and brand information on Kraft paper.

Can you help with graphic design for our boxes?

We’re manufacturers, not designers, so we can’t help design your boxes. But, we have done our best to make the process stress-free for you.

You can download one of our free box design templates and hand it off to your in-house design team or add the creative elements yourself. They are already formatted for printing, so all you need to do is make them look beautiful.

If you don’t have an in-house designer, we have a few recommended graphic designers for you. Feel free to contact them for assistance with your box design.

Can your boxes handle shipping around Australia?

Whether you’re sending goods close by in Melbourne or to customers around Australia, a strong box is a must. Rest assured, we use the ideal flute sizes to ensure your boxes are strong enough to withstand all the rigours of shipping.

What if my design is unsuitable for printing?

Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity to review every design for issues such as blurry artwork or bleeding lines. So, it’s important that the files you provide to us are the best quality and ready to print.

If this is your first time designing packaging for digital print, we recommend checking out the print guidelines for some best practice tips.

We also have a few recommended graphic designers who are experienced in cardboard packaging design and can assist with your artwork.
